Family Owned vs. Corporate

Why choose a family-owned funeral home?

Family-owned funeral homes are locally owned and operated, independent funeral homes.  Many families have been in
funeral service for generations, as has the Titzer Family.

Russ Titzer started a funeral home in Loogootee, Indiana in 1971 and operated until 1996 when he moved to Newburgh with his
wife, Pam.  In 2002 Russ and his son, Todd started Titzer Family Funeral Homes.  They have a personal relationship with the
community and are actively involved in the communities they serve.  They strive to offer the highest quality of service and
merchandise to their families.  They are sensitive to the needs of the community in which they live and serve.

With family-owned funeral homes, everything they do reflects their ongoing commitment to provide affordable, quality services to
the community.

Is Titzer Family Funeral Homes a chain or family owned?

Titzer Family Funeral Homes are family owned and have a single focus; providing the best quality service and value to our
families and friends. We are not governed by corporate mandates or driven to increase profits. We know that our success
depends upon how we treat each and every family we serve. It is our goal at Titzer Family Funeral Homes not only to satisfy your
needs but to exceed your expectations.
