Alan Dale Baker

Alan Dale Baker 68, formerly of Newburgh, died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020 in Pensacola FL.

Alan is survived by his wife of 19 Years, Michelle; children, Adam Richter, Amanda Vote (Nick), David Baker, Brandon Jarboe (Sammy), and Elissa Dillard (Sam); sister, Judy Watts; and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Lola Baker, brother-in-law, Jerry Watts, and sister-in-law, Kay Thomas.

Alan worked for Alcoa for many years before retiring.  He and his wife shared a love of the beach and moved to Panama City, FL. in 2016.  Alan was a talented carpenter and enjoyed home improvement projects.  He loved being outdoors, swimming, and looking for arrowheads.  He also adored his dog Sadie.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11 AM., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Titzer Family Funeral Home, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh IN. 47630. (812) 853-8314. with visitation beginning at 10 AM.  Burial will be private at Bates Hill Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

In accordance with the Indiana COVID-19 precautions, all attending are required to wear a mask and follow proper social distancing protocol, capacity is limited to 50 at a time for visitation. If you are not feeling well, or if you have compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.
