Anna Louise (Schaus) Lasher Anna Louise (Schaus) Lasher, 87, passed away Thursday March 13, 2008 at Good Samaritan Home. She was born March 13, 1921 in Santa Claus, IN to the late Clarence and Anna (Vortman) Schaus. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, in the City, where she was a member of the St. Anne Altar Society and a quilter. She had been an employee of Woolworth's for 25 years and a 1939 graduate of Central High School. She enjoyed researching her family's genealogy, game shows and baseball on T.V., crossword puzzles and especially her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph M. Lasher in 1993. Also, 1 brother and 4 sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Ann McCulloch of Evansville and Jane Komar and husband Frank of Newburgh; 2 sons, Jack Lasher and wife Joyce and David Lasher and wife Sandy all of Evansville; 10 grandchildren, Stephen Nellis, Brent Nellis, Jack J Lasher, Andrew Lasher, Beth Ann Woodruff, Frank Komar, Christopher Komar, Kathy Wells, Matthew Lasher and Brett Lasher; 13 great grandchildren and 1 sister Bonnie Hill of Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am, Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN., continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in the city, officiated by Father Ted Tempel, entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm to 8pm, Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E Columbia St. Evansville, IN. With a rosary service to be held at 7pm. Additional visitation beginning at 9am, Monday, at the funeral home till service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Home, 601 N. Boeke Rd, Evansville, IN 47711.
