Anthony Ray Burris Sr.

Anthony Ray Burris Sr., 48, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born on March 20, 1978, to Teresa Burris.

Anthony was a graduate of North High School and received his bachelor’s degree in drug counseling from Ball State University. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved his grandchildren more than anything and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wolfe / Burris; three sons, Jordan Burris, Anthony Burris Jr, and Caine Granado; daughter-in-law, Sunny Burris; Grandchildren, Daisy, Jordan Jr, JayVonni, and Juniper Burris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Louise Burris

A funeral service in Anthony’s honor will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St, Evansville, IN 47711. Public visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Condolences to the family may be made at the funeral home website, www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
