Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at our Simpson Chapel & 9 a.m. to Mass time Saturday at the church

Services: 10 a.m., Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial: 2 p.m., at United Methodist Cemetery

Arlene Annette (Hansen) Schrader, 96, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Newburgh Healthcare Center.  She was born March 6, 1921, in Nasonville, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Calla Hansen. 

Arlene graduated from Marshville High School; was active in SWIRCA in Santa Claus; and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Donald William (DW) Schrader, DC; daughter, Judith Rundio; and son-in-law, Ron Rundio.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Nancy Henkel (Terry) of Decatur, Illinois; son, David Schrader (Sharon) of Evansville; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle Pleckham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, Ind.  Burial will be 2 p.m., at United Methodist Cemetery, 351 N. Holiday Blvd., Santa Claus, Ind.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314.  Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. to Mass time Saturday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Newburgh Healthcare Garden.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
