Barbara J. Barnett

Barbara J. Barnett, 82, of Newburgh, IN, went to be with her Lord on November 22, 2024. Preceding Barbara was the love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Paul. Surviving are her three children: Scott (Holly) Pate of Evansville, IN; Kim (Max) Rodas of Cleveland, OH; and Eugene (Amy) Barnett of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

 For years Barbara was active in her church with youth groups. Later in life, she attended Redemption Community Church in Newburgh, IN. She loved gospel music, especially Southern gospel quartets. She shared with her husband a great love for the St. Louis Cardinals. So much so that they went to a ballgame on their honeymoon and had been loyal fans ever since. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved her dogs, especially her golden retrievers. She was a talented artist and enjoyed teaching painting and doing cross stitch.

 Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, IN.
