Betty Lou Pruett, 90, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 21, 1931 in New Burnside, IL to Raymond and Murl (Buckner)Deason.

Betty retired from Evansville Protestant Home after 34 years in 2013. She was a member of Helfrich Baptist Church Evansville IN, attended Cypress Baptist Church in Boonville, Church of the Nazarene in Chandler, New Hope Community Church in Newburgh. Betty thought the world of Pastor Andy and Loved the Lord. She loved traveling, working, spending time with her family and friends, all her furry animals, especially listening to Arianna sing to her.  Betty was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandma & Great Grandma.  

Betty is survived by her Daughter, Dawn Pettitt (Michael Davis), Son, Kenneth Pruett, Step-Son, Steve Pruett, Grandchildren, Crystal Pettitt, Ashley Johnson and husband Jay,  Great-Grandchildren, Arianna Pettitt, Sonny Lynch, Christopher Jones, Joseph Jones, and Alesia Johnson, Stephanie Peeples and Jennifer Tomlinson Gerber .

She preceded in death by her parents and Husband of 69 years, William "Steve" Pruett, Brothers, Ray and Robert Deason, Brother in laws and Sister in laws, and great grandson Ethan Pettitt.

A funeral service will held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh IN. 47630, (812) 853-8314, officiated by Pastor Andy Scheller with burial at Tupman Cemetery, Evansville IN.

Visitation will be from 4 till 8 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at the funeral home.
