Bettye L. (Hart) Godeke

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Titzer Family Funeral Home , Volkman Chapel, Second and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN, and Friday, 10 a.m. to time or service at the church.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Zion UCC Second and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN, burial in Zion UCC Cemetery.

Bettye (Hart) Godeke, 93, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away, Monday, April 19, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born January 11, 1928 to Curtis Joe and Lenora Belle (Ashley) Hart. She graduated from Boonville High School and was a member of Zion’s United Church of Christ in Elberfeld, IN.

Bettye is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Brad) Burton of Stafford, VA; grandchildren Eric Moore, of Norfolk, VA, Danielle McCall and Stephanie Franklin of Stafford, VA, and Natalie Burton of Boonville, IN; great-grandchildren Bailey and Payton McCall of Wirtz, VA, Braiden and Erin Burton of Boonville, IN, Zachary and Lexi Franklin of Stafford, VA, Nieces, Pam (Jay) Sanders Orlando, Florida, Connie (Ray) Wagner of Newburgh, IN.

She is also survived by several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 62 years Carl and her sister, Vera Patton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Zion UCC Second and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN, burial in Zion UCC Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Titzer Family Funeral Home , Volkman Chapel, Second and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN, and Friday, 10 a.m. to time or service at the church.
