Carolyn Joyce Marvel

Carolyn "Carol" Marvel, 75, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away, Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab Center.  She was born April 3, 1942, to Oscar Lee and Zelma Mae (Yarbough) Hendrix. 

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gayle Hansen; and brothers, James Paul and Jerry Lee Hendrix.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John K. and Belinda Marvel; daughter, Cheryl; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held, 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9274.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
