Carolyn Sue McKinnon 81, of Newburgh IN., passed away on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville IN.

She was born on August 18, 1944, in Evansville IN., to the late James Howard & Lola Mae (Burden) Bruce.

Carolyn was a beloved wife to her late, husband Senior Master Sergeant William C. “Mac” McKinnon Jr. who served many years in the United States Air Force. She and him traveled and lived all around the World with the military. Her greatest joy was volunteering at the many different military bases. She will be greatly missed by all.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Frankie Darell Bruce, Clarence Mitchell, Gerald Wayne Baugh.

She is survived by her daughters, Evonne Sue Manous (Ricky), Margie Johnson, brother, James Harold Bruce, sister, Constance Mae Mitchell, sister, Vickie Walling, grandchildren, Tracy Wright, Bethany Jones, Shannon Manous, great grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Abigail, Roman, Aidan, several nieces and nephews; also many half- brothers and half-sisters in Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh IN. 47630. (812) 853-8314. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and go until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow funeral service at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Veterans Section beside her husband.
