Carolyn Sue Reed, 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Heritage Hospice Center. She was born August 1, 1952 in Evansville. Carolyn was employed at Whirlpool many years ago but was a waitress and bartender most of her life. She was an avid pool player in her younger years, her other hobbies were playing bingo and lottery tickets. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Logan Hobdy and Katherine Virginia "Katie" (Smith) Hobdy; and her brother, Gary Hobdy. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Chester Reed, Jr.; daughter, Monica Kempf (Ronnie Paulson); sons, Steve Kempf (Julie), Jason Willett; sister, Jenny Hill (Richard); and grandchildren, Camron Paulson, Kaylie Kempf, and Taylor Hayden. She also leaves behind her dog, Mimi and cat, Sam. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., with visitation beginning at 4 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E.
