Christina Lynn Haley

Christina Lynn (Grubb) Haley, 61, of West Salem, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 27, 2025, by her beloved husband’s side.

Christina was born on November 2, 1963, in Bloomington IN. She was much loved by her adoptive mom, Elsie Johnson and Mom, Linda Grubb. Christina went on to graduate high school in Bedford and pursue a fulfilling career as a CNA. She then met her doting husband, Everett, and they started a family together and moved to Illinois.

Much beloved by everyone around her, Christina will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with her husband and family and will always be remembered as a kind and loving lady.

Christina was preceded in death by her birth mom, Linda Grubb, and her adoptive mom, Elsie Johnson; brothers, Jimmy Grubb, Harold Johnson and John Grubb; and her sister, Joyce Woods. She is survived by her husband, Everett Haley; children, Jessica Stevenson (Doug), Aiden “Charlie” Haley (Larry), Matthew Haley (Shannon), Amanda Haley, and James Perry (Bryna); sisters, Janice Hattabaugh and Sugar Lentz; grandchildren, Andy Bailey, Scott Harvey, Johna Bailey, Jasmine Compton, Druwsilla Compton , Justice Stevenson, Alexis Haley, Whitley Shook, Jayla Edgin, Everett D Haley, Haiden Haley, Brandon Edgin, Sebastian Haley, and Christiana Bredemeier the youngest; as well as six great-grandchildren and several beloved friends.

A small memorial service will be held in Christina’s honor on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel 510 W Jennings Street Newburgh IN, with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the same location.
