Clarence E. Rutt

Clarence E. Rutt, 84, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House.  He was born December 17, 1933 in Evansville to Frank and Evelyn (Veach) Rutt. 

Clarence managed restaurants for many years and drove for Blue Ribbon Courier Service.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife and life-long companion of 54 years, Martha Ann (Hamilton) Rutt.  Clarence is survived by his children, Rebecca L. Rutt, Timothy E. Rutt, Katherine A. Rutt, Elizabeth M. Mohr (Dan); grandchildren, Chris D. Williams, Michael J. Demarest, John Stucker, Kristen L. Hays, Tony Mohr, Crystal Mohr; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence Rutt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, IN.  Rev. Fr. Tom Kessler will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314, and 9 a.m. until Mass time Tuesday at church.
