Daniel L. Libbert

Daniel “Danny” Louis Libbert, 77, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1947 to the late Charles Pershing Libbert and Louise (Gardner)Libbert in Newburgh, IN.

Danny attended Castle High School. He owned “Dan Libbert Construction” Where he hung garage doors.   He enjoyed fishing on the Ohio River, and building/working on his drag race cars over the years.

Danny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Libbert; son, Scott Libbert; daughters, Stacy Ryan (Tim), and Shannon Virgin (Tim); grandchildren, Megan and Joshua Ryan, Brooke, Ashley, and Kindel Virgin, and Addie and Maddie Libbert; cousin, Sam Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Kay (Freels) Lant; uncle, Walter Gardner; cousins Jeff and Wally Gardner.

Honoring Danny’s final wishes, there will be no public services or viewings.
