David Lou Mcguire

David McGuire, 79, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away October 17, 2020. He was born December 21, 1940, in Ashland, KY, to William Winston & Gwendolyn J.(Seaton) McGuire.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward McGuire. David is survived by his wife Melissa, sons; Brian (Stephanie), Michael; sister-in-Law Wilma, brother-in-Law; Bill (Karen) Smyth, nephew; Jason (Chelsea) Smyth; niece; Samantha Smyth and two grandchildren Zoey and Ireland McGuire.

David graduated from University of Kentucky and was a proud Kentucky Wildcat Fan. He retired after 35 years from Marathon Oil Company. He was an avid University of Evansville Basketball season ticket holder and while his boys were growing up, David helped coach their baseball teams. He was a member of the Fendrich Men's Club, Shriners and in his spare time he loved to play golf with his buddies.

Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25th at Titzer Family Funeral Homes- Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings Street Newburgh, IN 47630, with visitation starting at 4:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
