David Irene Whalen

David Whalen, 90, of Newburgh, IN, formerly of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 in Newburgh.  He was born September 11, 1927 in Eddyville, KY to John and Dollie (Brooks) Whalen.  David worked at Whirlpool for some 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Diana Whalen.  David is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara (Gilles) Whalen; daughters, Linda Okamura (Gordon), Sharon Whalen, Janice Hochstetler (Daniel), Mary Ann Whalen (Greg); 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W.
