Donald Gene "Plow Boy" Mottley, 68, of Boonville, IN, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House.  He was born April 5, 1951 in Evansville to Joseph and Mary Olive (Miller) Mottley.  Donald was on the Alcoa Community Action Board, a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals for 20 years, the Laborer's International Union Local #561, he was the founder of Save Our River's Environmental Group, and was a volunteer fireman for Yankeetown.

Donald is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Gimotea) Mottley; sister-in-law, Marcia Rocca (Don); brothers-in-law, Tommy Wilson (Debbie), Mark Wilson (Becky); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Cindy (Wilson) Mottley; twin sister, Debbie Mottley; and sister, Donna Miller.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at Centenary General Baptist Church, 7877 Yankeetown Rd., Newburgh, IN.  Rev. Phil Elikofer will officiate and burial will follow in Bates Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, (812) 853-8314.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
