Donald L. Odom

Don Odom 74, of Newburgh, IN. passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 surrounded by family. 

He was born in Boonville, IN. on February 24, 1945.  His parents were Raymond and Francis (Johnson) Odom, both deceased.

He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam between 1965-66.

Don enjoyed his family, coaching and watching youth baseball and basketball, traveling in the western part of the U.S. and Evansville Aces Basketball.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon (Everly) Odom, sons, Jeff (Christi), Andy (Rebecca), brother, Dan (Laverne); sisters, Beverly (Bob) Hardy and Jean Thibault; grandchildren, Shelby (Stephen) Wheeler, Ashley, Gus and Cy; also many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh IN. with full military rites by the American Legion Kappermann Post 44 Honor Guard.

In memory of Don the family suggests contributions be made to the Warrick County Humane Society.
