Donald Thomas Howard

Donald Thomas Howard, 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.  He was born on November 15, 1934 in Owensboro, KY to Clarence Aubrey and Laura (Aull) Howard.  He retired after working in housekeeping at Welborn Hospital for a number of years.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; his mother and step-father, Laura Agnes and James O. Booker; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Richard Dewig; brother, Aubrey Howard; first wife, Christine Howard and second wife, Diane Howard.

He is survived by brother, David C. Howard; sister-in-law, Brenda Howard; nieces, Vickie Warren (John), Lesli Spice (Gary), and Amy Howard (Derek Beaman); nephews, Greg Smith (Kandy), and Justin Howard (Amber); great nephew, Roman Beaman; and his loving companion, Lois Casterman.

The family would like to thank, Kindred Hospice Care, Nurse Kelly, and Dr. Mehrzad; Dr. Chavez and the staff in ICU as well as the staff on 5400 at St. Vincent’s; Nurse Becky and the staff and friends at Market Street Living.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Arc of Evansville.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., with visitation at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN (812)424-9288.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
