Donna Shults Bawel

Donna (Shults) Bawel, 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Golden Living Woodlands in Newburgh.  She was born in Brazil, IN on May 2, 1944 to the late Donald E. and Virginia J. (Baumunk) Shults.

Donna is survived by her husband, Leroy "Skip" Bawel; daughter, Angela Hassman (Fred); son, Nicholas "Jay" Cope (Sheri); step-daughter, Kelly Talbott (Dennis); sister, Barbara McCullough (Bob); brother, Mike Shults (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Phillip Hassman (Kelly), David Hassman (Kyra), Christopher Cope and Maxwell Talbott; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant brother.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Croy's Creek Cemetery, Reelsville, IN.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Kindred Hospice.
