Doris J. Miley, 65, of Francisco, Ind., went home to God, Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The family lost a loving mother, sister, and grandma "Honey" and in return gained a beautiful guardian angel. She was born September 14, 1950 at home in Stanley, Ind., to Joseph O. and Beulah E. (Stratman) Zehner. Doris retired from GCARC after 25 years of dedicated service. She loved the outdoors, her flowers, and tending bar; also, spending time with family and friends; and participating in her grandchildren's activities. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; older sister, Helen Hall; and beloved husband, Richard "Rick" Miley. She is survived by 2 sons, John Woods (Tracy) of Elberfeld, Peter Woods (Amanda) of Evansville; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Cannon of Petersburg, Rita Kammerer (George ) of Lynnville; brother, Donald Zehner of Elberfeld; 6 grandchildren: Haylee and Lukas Woods of Elberfeld, Owen, Annie, Ella, and Ivy Woods of Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5342 E. State Rd. 168, Ft. Branch, Ind. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery in Mackey. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind., (812) 983-4211.
