Dorkis Jane "Janie" Ratcliffe of Evansville Dorkis Jane "Janie" Ratcliffe, 85, passed away Friday June 7, 2013 at the Heritage Center. She was born on October 10, 1927 in Central City, KY to the late Fench and Beulah Lee (Nuckolls) Suthard. She worked for many years at the 7-up Bottling Company and was a member of the Bible Center Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claris Thomas "Bud" Ratcliffe; sisters, Katie Staples, Helen Taylor, and step daughter, Diane Meyer. Janie is survived by one son, Danny Dale Evitts (Sandra) and step- daughter, Donna Ratcliffe both of Evansville; three grandchildren, Rob Evitts, Jamey Evitts, and Melissa Snyder; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Avis Dukes and Nell Denny of Kentucky. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday June 10, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
