Dorothy L. Sitzman, 91, of Evansville, Ind. , passed away March 11, 2014 at Signature Health Care in Newburgh. She was born July 3, 1922 in Evansville to Audrey L. and Willie (Ferguson) Cox. Dorothy was known as "Ms. Man" at the Courier & Press where she retired after many years from the Classified Dept. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence "Larry" Sitzman; and sister, Bonnie Walker. She is survived by two nieces, Jane Smith (Robert), Donna Rothert; four great nieces and nephew; and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 9 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chaplain Randall Bechtel will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel (812) 424-9288. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
