Dorothy D. Maynard

Dorothy E. Maynard, 85, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at The Good Samaritan Home in Evansville, IN. She was born on August 7, 1936, in Hymera, IN to the late Hugh and Doris (Branson) Blevens.

Dorothy worked for Busler’s and Hardee’s restaurants. She enjoyed taking walks, reading, growing flowers, enjoyed time with family, especially her grandkids. 

Dorothy is survived by her children, Richard Young, Thomas Young, and Brenda Young, grandchildren, Kristial Young, Jason Young, Lacie Young, great grandchildren, Kaylei Byers, Layla Byers, Curtis Young, stepchildren, Becky (Bob) Brown, Robert (Judy) Maynard, 
step grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Eric Brown, and Jamie (Amanda) Maynard

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Kenneth Young, second husband, Robert C. Maynard, two sisters, Phyliss and Judy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN 47630 (812) 853-8314 with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, IN.
