Dorothy Susie Williams

Dorothy Susie Williams, 85, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Primrose Retirement Community in Newburgh. She was born in Evansville on August 7, 1940, to the late Charles W. and Ida E. (Jones) Omer.

Susie was known to many in the community in Newburgh after working at Old National Bank for 35 years, as well as Lynnville National bank for 5 years. She loved her family very much and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Susie is survived by her husband, Leibern “Red” Williams, son, Kevin L. Klausmeier (Christine); granddaughter, Hannah Call (Ben); great grandsons, Brody and Brock Call; stepson, Rick D. Williams; step-grandchildren, Alyssa Williams (Bryce) and Katelyn Williams; step-great granddaughter, Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Susie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, IN 47630, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the funeral service on Thursday.
