Elizabeth (Libby) Sanders, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was born on August 19, 1925 to the late A.J. and Edna Wells. She is survived by her husband, Walter R. Sanders; daughter, Lynette Rainey; sons, Robin Fraser (Bonnie) and Bruce Fraser (Joan). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. Surviving also are her stepchildren, David Sanders (Lee), Toni Adkins (Steve), Nina Lientz (Randy), Jeff Sanders (Carla), Cara Reed and Lisa Vonderhaas, as well as their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elizabeth also is survived by her older brother, James Wells and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a true friend to many. Words that define her are kind-hearted, loyal, generous and gentle soul. She was a lifelong, dedicated Jehovah’s witness and she enjoyed sharing her hope for the future with her family and any one she met with a listening ear. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heritage Hospice and Solarbron for their kindness and compassion during her final days. A memorial service will be held for her on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Southwest Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses, 610 S. Eickhoff Rd. Evansville.
