Eva “Christine” Embrey 03/03/1941 – 09/11/2024

 Christine went to her final resting place September 11, 2024. She was surrounded by her family.

Christine was born in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky and lived there until moving to Evansville after the death of her mother. Many years later she married and became the matriarch of a very large family.

Christine lived for her family, raising children and family members until she fell ill and wasn’t able to.

Christine is survived by her four children: Chris Alan Embrey (Julie), Jeff Embrey, Paula Egan (Marc), and Jennifer Davidson (Dale), and her bonus son Dezmarian Miles.

Grandchildren: Candie Watkins, Phillip Rice (KaLeigha), Alison Pickard (David), Michael Embrey, Heather Embrey, Jeffrey Embrey (Jennifer), Alyssa Embrey, John Embrey (Renee), Amanda Davidson, Brianna Robison (Darren), Kamrin Akins (Alyssa), and Keegan Braden and bonus granddaughters Kiara Hicks (Michael) and Angel Ivy, 28 great grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids.

She is also survived by her ex-husband and father of her children, Paul Embrey and a sister Brenda Ziegler, and nieces and nephews.

Christine is preceeded in death by her parents Gordon and Alice Fulkerson, siblings Darrell, Shirley, and Billy Fulkerson and Mae McIntire.

The family would like to thank Envive Healthcare, Asceracare and Omni Hospice for the wonderful care, compassion, and love they provided.

A memorial service will take place Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Meyer Chapel. 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN 47711.

 Private graveside services at a later date in Central City Kentucky.
