Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN with full Military Rites.

Frank “Bill” William Wilson, 88, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on December 19, 1933, in Ruston, Louisiana to the late Alfred and Pauline (Holbrook) Wilson.

He was a 1953 graduate at Bosse High School in Evansville. Frank was in the United States Army and served overseas in Paris, France, where he worked in the Communications division as a photographer. Frank attended the University of Evansville. Frank worked for Deaconess Hospital from March 1965 until his retirement in August 2005 for some 40 years as a medical photographer.

Frank is survived by his son, John Wilson of Newburgh, IN, daughter, Suzanne Wilson, M.D. of North Carolina, sister, Ouida (Gill) Guinn and brother, Max Gill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Peggy of 50 years in 2009.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN., (812)853-8314, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Christena Poehlein.  Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN with full Military Rites.

A visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
