Freddie L. Roy Freddie L. Roy, 49 of Newburgh passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. He was born October 29 1959 to Arval & Ethel (McCormick) Roy in Evansville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Roy, half-brother, Eddie McCormick. Freddie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tonuya (Gardner) Roy, sons, Clint & Jonathan Roy, all of Newburgh, father, Arval (Norma) Roy, sister, Carol (Bill) Burress, brother, Ted Roy, all of Evansville, aunt, Betty Nelson, of Selma AL., sisters-in-law, Scarlett (Jerry) Yockey, of Mt. Grove Missouri, Sue (Louie) Mizzoni, of Las Vegas Nevada and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM., on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh IN. 47630, (812)853-8314, officiated by Pastor Joe Turnbloom, burial will be in Parklawn cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM., on Friday at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel.
