Gary William Adkisson

Gary William Adkisson, 57, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away September 22, 2015 at home. He was born March 8, 1958 in Owensboro. He graduated from South Spencer High School in 1976. He was a supervisor in the facility department at Ivy Tech for 15 years. Gary was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Kapperman Post #44 and the Abate Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Yvonne (Wilson) Adkisson; brother, Kevin Ray Adkisson; best friend, Denny Green; grandparents, Louis and Gertrude Adkisson. Gary is survived by his wife of nine years, Kim Adkisson; father and step-mom, William and Vicki Adkisson; children, Marcanna Boultinghouse (Anant), Kalyn Smith (Josh), Gary Logan (Amanda), Austin Ellard, Sydnee Ellard; grandchildren, Larry, Hayden, Destan Blair, Mia Boultinghouse; brother, Larry Adkisson (Gretchen); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brian and Debbie Burch; grandparents, Charles and Irma Burch; sisters-in-law, Suzae Cook (Bill Flick), Brandi Burch (Adam Grove); step-brothers, Davie Green (Amy), Denny "Fridge" Green (Rachel); best friend, Jesse Zapien; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with a memorial service held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at North Park Wesleyan Church, 3360 N 1st Ave., Evansville, Ind., Rev.
