Glenn J. Meyer, 84, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at home. He was born to the late Louis & Olive (Snyder) Meyer in Chrisney IN.

He graduated from Chrisney High School. Glenn served in the United States Army overseas in the Lebanon Conflict.  He retired from Alcoa in 1993 after many years.  He was of the Catholic faith.  He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Kapperman Post 44 Newburgh.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, basketball, especially I.U. and the Pacers.  His hobbies were home improvements and woodworking.  Glenn could build just about anything.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, loving companion & best friend, Carole Rogers, siblings, Louis, Clyde, Robert, Janet and Dennis.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Leisa Ecker (John), Daniel J. Meyer (Myra), Marty G. Meyer (Shelly), Seneca (Ritter) Meyer (Mandie), grandchildren, Ivy & Jordan Rhodes (Sarah), Ian Abel Meyer, Elijah Asher Meyer, Mallory, Maris, Hadley Meyer, Arian Meyer & Braelyn Onyett, great grandchildren, Cowen & Anderson Rhodes, Luciana DePiano, also siblings, Joyce Peak, James, Leroy, and Steve (Vera) Meyer, and his furry friends, Mindy, Amanda, and Shadow.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN., (812) 853-8314. Burial will follow at Saint Martin’s Cemetery 1436 E. Cty. Rd. 900 N. Chrisney, IN 47611, with full military rites.  

A visitation will be held from 10 am. till service time at the funeral home.
