Hazel Woods Hazel Woods, 98, of Newburgh, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 at her residence. She was a seamstress. She was a member of the Newburgh United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star Friendship Chapter. She is survived by two daughters, Ona Ellis and Glenda Walker; sister, Martha Langley; brother, Thomas Spencer; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Newburgh United Methodist Church. Reverend Mark Dickson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will held Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel are handling arrangements. There is no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
