Jacqueline “Jackie” Joyce Geiselman

Jacqueline Joyce “Jackie” (Edmond) Geiselman, 95, retired into heavenly peace as she left this world at 6:00 p.m., on October 23, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville. She was born July 28, 1928, in Evansville IN. to the late Chester and Ida (Korff) Edmond.  She graduated from Central High School in Evansville in 1946.  Jackie worked many years as a legal secretary in the Vanderburgh County Parole Court.  She married in 1954 to Arthur J. Geiselman and moved to Elberfeld to raise a family.  She was a longtime member of Zion UCC in Elberfeld.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester, and Ida (Korff); husband, Arthur J. Geiselman who passed away in 2012. 

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Kevin) Oxley of Elberfeld; son, Chet Geiselman of Muncie; grandchildren, Jesse (Trent) Creek and Kreig (Jaylen) Oxley both of Elberfeld and four great grandchildren, Braelyn, Trayce, Jace, and Taytum.

A funeral service will be held 10 AM., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Zion United Church of Christ, 2nd & Elm St., Elberfeld, Ind., with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Officiated by Pastor Paul Fraser, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM. On Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm St., Elberfeld, Ind. (812) 983-4211.
