James A. Russelburg

James A. Russelburg, 91, passed away, Friday, July 1, 2016, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born August 30, 1924, in Uniontown, KY, the son of Charles R. and Mary Lillian (Abell) Russelburg. James was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. James was a member of Rockport American Legion and retired from the Whirlpool Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James William Russelburg. James is survived by his wife of 14 years, Thelma; 3 step-children, Hal, Harvey, and Kenneth Jennings; 2 grandchildren, Robert and Donna Russelburg; 5 great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; brother, Richard Russelburg (Dorothy); and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016, Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, and 1 p.m. to service time Thursday.
