Services: A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 6 p.m. with a eulogy, followed by a toast to Jim to send him on his way, held at our Simpson Chapel

James H. Kittinger, 73, of Boonville, Ind. passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital.  He was born on January 20, 1944 in Rumsey, Kentucky to the late Hugh B. and Jenny Mary (Flener) Kittinger.  James served in the United States Army, in Korea, during the Vietnam War.  He then worked at Alcoa as a metal planner for 28 years.  James was an avid bird watcher and UK fan.

James is survived by his wife, Diana (Peter) Kittinger; sons, Michael A. Kittinger (Julie) and Jeremy L. Kittinger (Jill Chenette); brother, Robert R. Kittinger (Mary Linda); sister-in-law, Loretta Kittinger; brother-in-law, Clarence J. "Pete" Peter, Jr.; grandchildren, Kinsey LeAnne and Landry James Kittinger; step-grandchildren, Allison and Joey Chenette, Blake, Brandon (Laramy Parke), and Brooke Morton; nephews and nieces, Brian Kittinger (Jill), John Kittinger (Tricia), Kurt Kittinger (Vickie), Maya Kittinger, Kerri Leach (Ryan), and Kameron Peter; numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 6 p.m. with a eulogy, followed by a toast to Jim to send him on his way, held at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314.  Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ozanam Family Shelter or the Evansville Food Bank.  Condolences may be made at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
