Joannie Lynn Phillips of Newburgh, Ind. Joannie Lynn Phillips, 56, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at her mother's residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 3, 1956, in Evansville, to Lawrence and Dorothy (Litchfield) Gray. Joannie married Edward Phillips on January 31, 1987. She worked at Whirlpool for 32 years, and received a technical certificate in Office Administration from Ivy Tech. Joannie was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Evansville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Phillips, June 23, 2003, and her father, Lawrence Gray, August 3, 2011. Joannie is survived by her children, Lindsey Meyer (Chris), Rachel Cox (Jay), Darren Phillips (Yvette); grandchildren, Julia Meyer, Destiny Phillips, Dylan Shultz, Fiona Scalf, Reagan Cox, Shyanne Phillips, Gabby Phillips; mother, Dorothy Gray; siblings, Dennis Gray (Dawn), and Michelle Stroup (Kevin). A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana, (812) 853-8314, Rev.
