Jodele Marie Bender, 54, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at home. She was born May 18, 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Virgil C. and Adele M. (Kummer) Bender. Jodele was a graphic designer and she owned and operated Art Etc. Inc. She was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick L. Bender. She is survived by her parents; sisters, Jane A. (Bender) Mosby, Mary Jo (Bender) Saltzman (Richard); niece, Johnna Marie Mosby; and great-nephew, Karter Shawn Mosby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, Ind. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, (812) 853-8314. Sympathy wishes may be made to www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
