Joseph Allen Boatman, 78, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born on January 31, 1947, to Walter and Edna (Strode) Boatman.
Joe attended Old Central High School and worked in maintenance and security at various banks. He was a big fan of Elvis and classic cars and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his children, Joseph Boatman Jr., Robert Boatman, April Willis and Megan Boatman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathryn Boatman and his parents.
A memorial service in Joe’s honor will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN 47711, with visitation beginning at 2:00pm until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:00am.
Services are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes.
