Joyce Elizabeth Meeks

Joyce Elizabeth (Mouser) Meeks, 93, started her journey to home on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent- Warrick Rehab with her family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1928, in Evansville, IN to the late Crayton and Evelyn (Pate) Mouser.

Joyce was a telephone operator for 30 years.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold Meeks, daughter, Julie Meeks (Larissa), granddaughter, Kaylee Bronson (Robbie), grandson, Jonathan Meeks (Sarah), granddaughter, Jessica Stuttles, sister, Mildred Demarest, and several great-grandchildren.

She preceded in death her parents, son, Harold Hesson Jr., and daughter, Mary Hesson.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm., Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN., (812) 853-8314. A private entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 am. till service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Special Olympics in memory of niece, Barbara Wilson.
