Joyce V. Geary

Joyce V. (Patterson) Geary, age 92, of Newburgh, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 27, 1931, in Olaton, KY, to the late Walter and Ruth (Davidson) Patterson.

Joyce loved visiting with her friends and family. She enjoyed attending The Assembly Church in Evansville, and traveling her best friend, Ruby Grigsby.

She is survived by her son, Robin E. Geary, granddaughter, Erin Geary, best friend, Ruby Grigsby, and nephew, David Ellison, and family. 

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Geary, and parents. 

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 47630, (812) 853-8314, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

A visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the funeral home and beginning 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
