Joyce Ann Kirk

Joyce Ann Kirk, 97, recently of Ft. Branch IN, passed away on Saturday October 24th, 2026 at Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.

Joyce was born on September 3, 1929 in Henshaw KY to her parents, John and Carry Nelson.

She retired from The Luggage Shop in downtown, and was a devoted member of Parke Memorial Presbyterian Church for many years. Joyce loved her family very much; she also had a great sense of humor and a smile that could win anyone over.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carry Nelson; her husband of many years, Richard Kirk; her son, Steve Kirk; and an infant daughter, Susan Gail.

She is survived by her son, Rick Kirk; her daughter, Julie (George) Ferguson; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A burial will be held in Joyce’s honor at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, Kentucky.
