Karen Jean Stone, 57, of Evansville, Ind., passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Evansville, a 1975 graduate of Castle High School and was employed at ARC Industries. Karen was a gentle and caring person loved by all who knew her. Her joys were her family, friends, working hard, and participating in Special Olympics throughout her life. Karen is the daughter of Rosalie and the late Donald Stone. Survivors also include, sisters, Kim Stone, Brenda Neidig (Mark), Marianne Coney (Chuck); nieces, Chantelle Halling (Robert), Georgia Sathoff, Lauren Coney, Lori Bootz (Ryan); great nieces and nephews, Jayla, Jason, Jolan, Kendall, Parker, and the late Ariana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, Ind., burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. till Mass time at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, (812) 853-8314. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen’s honor to: Sycamore Services, 1510 N Weinbach Ave, Evansville, Ind. 47711.
