Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Reverend Eckels will officiate with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Kathy “Kat” (Davis) Hayes of Newburgh Kathy “Kat” (Davis) Hayes, 57, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home. Kathy was born June 8, 1956 in Evansville, the daughter of Melva and the late Charles Davis. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Anthony “Tony” Hayes; her son, David Harrison, Jr. (Stephanie); four grandchildren, Amanda Tompkins (Brian), Danielle Roach, Craig Fritsch and Caleb Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Abbie Marie and Allie Nicole Tompkins; two sisters, Linda Kell (Mark) and Shirley Rieber (Dave); and six nephews. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Professional Child Care Association and was the owner and operated “Kathy’s Childcare” for 26 years. She loved arts and crafts, camping and fishing. She was a loving, caring and compassionate person with a positive outlook on life. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314.
