Kelli Kay Stevens Sako, 34, died Monday, May 1, 2017 after complications from heart surgery.  She was born September 25, 1982 to Kim and Robin Stevens.

Kelli graduated from Castle High School where she was a proud member of the Castle Marching Knights.  She also attended USI.  Kelli cannot be summed up in a paragraph, her interests were too vast.  Kelli was a voracious reader.  She loved writing, making jewelry, traveling, music and spending time with her family and friends. But her greatest joy was her daughter. Taking her on adventures and teaching her and loving her through her journey in life.

Kelli is survived by her parents; husband, Nick Sako; daughter, Gwendolen Imagine; brother, Nicholas Stevens; grandparents, Gene and Kay Shekell; aunts and uncles, Sara and Kary Kiefer, Judy and Frank Harrington and Betty Millhone; mother and father-in-law, Donna and Bill Sako; sisters-in-law, Laura Sako and Susan Charlton; three nephews, Kaleb and Bentley Stevens, Logan Sako; great aunts and uncles; many cousins and her dog, Trigger.

A Memorial Service will be held 5 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN, (812) 853-8314.  Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Gwendolen at Heritage Federal Credit Union or the Warrick Humane Society.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
