Kenneth Edward Jacobs

NEWBURGH - Kenneth Edward Jacobs, 90, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

He was born June 13, 1930 to the late Michael T. and Josephine M. (Ubelhor) Jacobs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. (Goelzhauser), 3 brothers, Arnold, Othmar, and Tom Jacobs, and son-in-law, Randy Williams.

Ken graduated from Memorial High School in 1948.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served overseas in the Korean War.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Parish in Newburgh. He was even involved with building of the old church and some of the old Parish buildings.

Ken was a home builder by trade in Newburgh, Evansville, and surrounding areas.

His survivors include children, Karen Doss (Rick), Diane Williams, Kathy Mosley (John), Ed Jacobs (Julie), Mary Ward (Darrin), John Jacobs (Angela); 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin Jacobs.

There will be no visitation, however, a Mass will be held at 12/noon p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, IN for family and friends. A private Christian burial will follow.
