Kenneth Kae “Kenny” Klippel, 63, of Boonville, IN, passed away peacefully Monday, February 19, 2018, in Evansville, after a six-year battle with cancer.  He was born July 10, 1954, to Melvin Curtis and Barbara (Castle) Klippel. 

Kenny graduated from Castle High School in 1972 and also earned a BS Degree from ISUE in 1977.  He was involved in farming all his life and worked at Farm Credit for some 25 years.  After his father’s passing in 2000, Kenny went on to grow his father’s school bus routes into Klippel Enterprises becoming president/bus contractor for some 17 buses, that carry Warrick County’s most precious cargo from one end of the county to the other.

He was a proud member of the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank Board of Directors and Campbell Township Conservation Club.

He enjoyed socializing, spending time with family and friends and collecting tractors of all sizes especially red ones and going to tractor pulls and auctions.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Curtis Klippel; wife, Peggy Klippel; and brother, Karl A. Klippel.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara (Castle) Klippel; sister, Karen Sue Klippel Hardison; nephews, Ben Hardison, Josh Hardison (Annie); great-niece and nephew, Kaydence and Korbin; step-son, Cameron Maxwell (Jamie); step-daughter, Krystal Stratton Schorey (Dan); step-grandchildren, Brooke, Vayda, Paige, Maddex; companion, Ethel Swonger; several cousins, bus drivers, neighbors and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN, (812) 853-8314.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
