Landon Evan Hill

Elberfeld - Landon Evan Hill, 24, of Elberfeld, passed away unexpectedly in Warrick County on Saturday, March 7, 2020, after a truck accident.
Landon was born on November 3, 1995, to Jonathan and Dynee (Frederickson) Hill of Elberfeld, Indiana. He is their fourth child and only son. Landon was raised in Elberfeld with his sisters Taryn, Kymber, and Kaylee, and he attended Tecumseh Jr.-Sr. High School in Lynnville. After high school he worked in the construction industry and was recognized for his talents in the field, most recently working for Roberts Boring/Trenching/Excavating, LLC, who described Landon as "irreplaceable." Landon was often referred to as the life of any party and he could often be found surrounded by friends. Landon enjoyed spending time with his family and he especially loved family time that involved board games or corn hole. Landon will forever remain the corn hole champion of the Hill family.
Landon will be remembered for his inventive and mechanically-skilled mind, especially his homemade radio-cooler. He had a big heart for those he cared about and would drop whatever he was doing to help his loved ones and friends. In his free time, Landon could be found rebuilding diesel trucks, 4-wheeling, and fishing.
Landon is survived by his parents and older sisters: Taryn Hill (Jack) of Nashville, Tennessee; Kymber (Corbe) Ashby of Evansville; Kaylee Hill (Ben) of Evansville; and niece Harlow Ashby of Evansville, who loved singling out her Uncle Landon as her favorite person in the room. Landon is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many close friends. Throughout Landon's life he cherished his pets and also leaves behind his dogs, Gunner and Titan, and his cat, Ringo. As Landon's family and friends mourn his passing, they are also incredibly grateful and blessed for the 24 years they were able to have him in their lives. Landon will be greatly missed but forever remain in everyone's hearts.
Landon is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Wilda Hill of Elberfeld, and maternal grandparents, Ward and Shirley Frederickson of Princeton. He is also proceeded in death by his aunt Darla Frederickson and uncle David Frederickson.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 14, at the American Legion Post 351 located at 250 N. 4th St., Elberfeld from 2pm to 8pm. Guests are encouraged to dress casually, as Landon's preferred outfit was a hat, hoodie, and jeans. Anyone who would like to celebrate Landon is welcome.
