Larry Douglas Collins

Larry Douglas Collins, of Newburgh, IN, born May 5, 1951 in Owensboro, KY passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 27, 2018.  His loves included Nascar, working on cars, Cardinals baseball, and his sons and wife.  Larry enjoyed telling stories and jokes.  He owned a shoe repair and an antique car restoration business for years. He retired from Belmont Freight.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Collins; mother, Opal Collins; sisters, Sandra (Collins) Smith, and Joyce (Collins) Ipock. 

He leaves behind his wife, Debra (Nix) Collins; sons, Larry Collins, Jr. of Cynthiana, Troy Collins (Danielle Harris) of Chandler, Nicholas Collins (Megan) of Newburgh, LCpl Zachary Collins of Newburgh; grandsons, Jacob, Jacen, Austin, and Ethan Collins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
