Larry Major Meneely

Larry Meneely’s life came to an end, as his heart stopped beating at Hamilton Pointe on Thursday the 28th of July at the age 76.  
He was a supervisor with Amax Coal for over 30 years. Larry was an avid fisherman, IU basketball fan, and enjoyed life to the fullest.  
His parents, Robert and Gretchen; a son Mark; and brother, Gary, preceded him in death.  
His wife sadly survives him, Elberta and Larry were married 56 years.  He is also survived by son, Brad and Tammy; a brother Dennis and Lilli; and several nieces and nephews.  
Larry was a favorite Grandpa to Granddaughter, Kayla Burleson and Grandsons, Chase, Matthew, and Logan.  
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
