Larry “Teddy Sellers

Larry Sellers, 62, of Haubstadt, IN formerly of Elberfeld passed away peacefully, with his wife, Melody by his side, on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at North Park Nursing Center in Evansville. Larry was born on July 20, 1959 to Roscoe and Wanda (Besing) Sellers.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Melody (Plumlee) Sellers, daughter, Kelley Pike (Zeb), son, Nathan Sellers (Leslie), grandchildren, Colton, Elijah, Tre', Alex, Keira, and his mother, Wanda J. (Besing) Sellers, brothers, Mike (Ruth Ann), David (Kay) Sellers, sister, Lori (David) Morris and many nieces and nephews.  Larry was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Sellers.

Larry was a 1977 graduate of Tecumseh High School. He was saved and baptized at the Church of God on Elliott St., Evansville in 1979. Larry enjoyed jeep riding, trail hiking, riding four-wheelers, and his Harley Davidson. An avid sports fan, he loved watching, Indiana Basketball, and the Indianapolis Colts.

Larry loved his children and grandchildren. He was a quiet man of few words with a great smile. He was a handy man who could fix anything, woodworking was his specialty, and he especially enjoyed the great outdoors and nature.

Larry retired from PPG/PGW now Vitro in Evansville after 36 years of employment.  

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm St. Elberfeld, IN 47613 (812) 983-4211with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Nobles Chapel Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4-8 pm. at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Southern Care Hospice & North Park Nursing Center Staff.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the AFTD, Association for Frontal Temporal Degeneration at theaftd.org.
